Witness appeal following reported exposure incident in Bournemouth

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a reported incident of indecent exposure in Bournemouth.

It was reported that at around 8.15am on Monday 4 March 2024 a man was seen in a black Ford Focus estate parked in Beswick Avenue and was allegedly exposing himself and performing an indecent act.

Following enquiries, a 38-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure. He has been released on police bail as further investigative work is carried out.

Police Constable Tom Skinner, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and from our enquiries we understand there are likely to have been a number of people in the area around the relevant time.

“I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity, or who has any information that might assist our investigation, to please come forward.”
