Update – arrest in connection with reported burglaries in Bournemouth

A man has been arrested following a CCTV appeal in relation to alleged burglaries at a recycling centre in Bournemouth.

It was reported that between Saturday 13 August and Tuesday 16 August 2022 there were three break-ins at the recycling centre in Ringwood Road.

Over 60 car batteries and 20 alloy wheels were reportedly stolen during the incidents.

Following a CCTV appeal and enquiries by officers, a 30-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage. He has been released under investigation as officers continue to make enquiries.
