CCTV appeal following theft from vehicle and fraud in Poole
Officers investigating theft from a vehicle and fraud in Poole are issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to identify.
At 4.28am on Friday 1 August 2025 Dorset Police received a report of a man behaving suspiciously in Princess Road shortly before he broke into a vehicle and stole a black Nike holdall bag containing a wallet and bankcards.
Officers attended and conducted a search of the area, but the man could not be located.
Following enquiries, it was ascertained that the victim’s bank cards had been used to carry out several fraudulent transactions in the area of The Triangle in Bournemouth.
Police Constable Heather Anderson, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident, and we are now in a position to issue CCTV images of a man we would like to identify.
“I would ask anyone with knowledge of who he is to please contact us.”
