Witness and dashcam appeal following serious collision near Poole
Officers investigating a road traffic collision near Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
At around 11.50am on Tuesday 20 February 2024, a collision occurred on Lower Blandford Road in Broadstone involving a pedestrian and a silver Honda Jazz.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are believed to be serious.
Road closures were put in place to allow emergency services to attend the incident.
Police Constable Kier Dagnall, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of this collision and am keen to speak to any witnesses of the incident or manner of driving of the vehicle involved in the moments before it happened.
“Also, if you were driving in the area and have a dashcam fitted that has captured relevant footage, please contact Dorset Police.”
