Witness appeal following garage burglary in Christchurch

Officers investigating a burglary in Christchurch are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

It is reported that at around 9.20pm on Sunday 2 November 2025, entry was gained to a garage at a residential address in Hillside Drive.

A neon yellow Whyte E160S electric bike valued at around £4,600 was stolen from inside.

Police Constable Dave Buchanan, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this burglary and I would urge any witnesses or anyone with relevant information to please contact us.

“We would like to hear from anyone who saw a metallic grey Audi with a loud exhaust travelling in the area, or any other suspicious activity, on the evening of Sunday 2 November 2025, as well as anyone who may have captured relevant CCTV or dashcam footage.

“I am also issuing an image of the stolen E-bike and would urge anyone who comes across a matching bike being offered for sale locally or online in suspicious circumstances to please get in touch.”
