A man has been jailed after officers uncovered a large quantity of cocaine and cash during a vehicle stop in Poole.

Jake Musselwhite, aged 36 and of Poole, was sentenced on Friday 21 August 2026 to four years and two months in prison.

At around 2.15pm on Thursday 16 April 2026 officers stopped a blue Ford Fiesta in the area of Longfleet Road following reports it was involved in suspicious activity.

Musselwhite was sat in the back of the car in possession of a brown paper bag which was found to contain two separate one kilogram blocks of cocaine.

Searches of the vehicle and Musselwhite uncovered additional small bags of cocaine and £1,570 in cash.

The estimated street value of the drugs was a minimum of £120,000.

He was arrested and subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Musselwhite was sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday 21 August 2026 after pleading guilty to the charge.

Detective Constable Liam Moss, of Dorset Police, said: “This is another example of our officers disrupting the activities of those involved in the suspected supply of illegal drugs.

“We hope this case demonstrates we will pursue offenders relentlessly and take robust action against anyone seeking to bring harm to our communities.”
