Officers continuing to investigate a robbery in Bournemouth are issuing CCTV images of a man and a woman they would like to identify.

At around 5.10pm on Friday 27 February 2026 a man and woman attempted to leave B&M in Wimborne Road with items they had not paid for.

It is reported that when a member of staff tried to retrieve the items, she was assaulted by the woman, sustaining minor injuries to her face and shoulder.

The man and woman then left with the stolen items.

Police Community Support Investigator Melanie Osborne, of Bournemouth police, said: “We have been continuing to investigate this incident and I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of a man and woman we would like to identify as part of our enquiries.

“I appreciate the images are not the best quality, but I would urge anyone with information regarding their identities to please contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55260030505. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online using its website or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
