Renewed CCTV appeal following burglary at Weymouth hotel

Officers continuing to investigate a burglary at a hotel in Weymouth are issuing images of two men they would like to identify.

Between 6pm and 7pm on Thursday 29 May 2025 entry was gained to seven rooms at The Russell Hotel on The Esplanade and various items were stolen, including cash and jewellery.

Police Constable Robert Coram, of Weymouth police, said: “We are continuing our investigation and are now in a position to issue images of two men we would like to identify.

“I would ask anyone who recognises them to please get in touch.”
