Witness appeal following burglary in Bridport

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary at a home in Bridport.

Between 10.45pm on Friday 29 May and 5am on Saturday 30 May 2026 entry was gained to an address in East Street and a wallet and car keys were stolen.

Police Constable Joe Henderson, of West Dorset police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this burglary and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on the night of the incident, or who has any information that might assist our investigation.

“I would also urge residents in the vicinity with home CCTV or doorbell cameras, as well as motorists with dashcam who were in the area, to please review any footage for the relevant timeframe to see if they have captured anything that might help our enquiries.”
