Witness and dashcam appeal following collision in Wimborne

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a road traffic collision in Wimborne.

Dorset Police received a report at around 5pm on Wednesday 30 July 2025 of a collision on the B3073 Rodway near to the roundabout with Leigh Road, involving a silver Mercedes-Benz C220 and a pedestrian.

Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a woman aged in her 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment to a serious leg injury which is not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Police Constable Kier Dagnall, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are conducting enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision.

“I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, or any motorists who were in the area and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
