Witness appeal following criminal damage in Bournemouth

Officers investigating criminal damage to a car in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

The incident occurred overnight between Sunday 13 February and 10am on Monday 14 February 2022 near to the Suncliff Hotel in Grove Road. 

The victim’s car – a silver Mercedes – had extensive damage caused to it along the passenger side of the vehicle. 

Police Community Support Investigator Amelia Vaughan, of Bournemouth police, said: “The damage caused was so significant that the victim’s vehicle had to be subsequently written off.

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant timeframe to please come forward.

“I would also urge motorists and residents to check their dashcams and CCTV systems for any relevant footage to help my enquiries.”
