Appeal for information following criminal damage in Bournemouth

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward as they investigate a report of criminal damage to a vehicle in Bournemouth.

At around 12.25am on Thursday 21 December 2023, a white Kia Sportage was damaged outside a property in Mount Road. The offender jumped on the roof of the vehicle before using a heavy object to smash the windows.

Police Sergeant Craig Neale, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are conducting enquiries into this incident, which has caused a great deal of distress and inconvenience to the victim. 

“I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area of Mount Road during the early hours of Thursday 21 December 2023.

“I would also urge residents and motorists in the area to check any available home CCTV systems or dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything that might assist our enquiries.”
