Appeal for witnesses and dashcam after fail-to-stop collision in Ferndown

Officers investigating a fail-to-stop collision in Ferndown are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.

At around 8.15am on Wednesday 14 May 2025, a collision occurred involving a female pedestrian and a car in Stapehill Road.

It is reported that the silver car did not stop at the scene.

The pedestrian sustained minor injuries during the incident.

Police Sergeant Neil Hawkes, of East Dorset police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident as we seek to identify the vehicle involved and the driver.

“I would urge any witnesses, as well as any motorists who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage, to please make contact with us.”
