Witness appeal following burglary at barber shop in Westbourne

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary at a barber shop in Westbourne.

Between 1am and 6am on Saturday 11 May 2024, entry was gained to Bond’s Barbershop in Seamoor Road.

A till containing money and receipts was stolen during the incident, which was later found abandoned in Alum Chine Road and recovered.

Police Constable John Barron, of Bournemouth police, said: “An investigation is underway to identify those responsible for this burglary and an examination of the scene has been carried out.

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area to please come forward.

“I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on either home CCTV or dashcam footage.”
