Image appeal following theft of ring in Christchurch

Officers are issuing an image of a man and woman they would like to speak to as they investigate a distraction theft in Christchurch.

 

It is reported that at around 5pm on Saturday 26 April 2025 a man and woman distracted staff at Hamilton Jewellers in Pound Lane before stealing a ring valued at £5,750. 

 

Police Community Support Investigator Mike Cannings, of Dorset Police, said: “This ring was of significant financial value, and we have been carrying out enquiries to try and recover it.

 

“I am now in a position to issue an image of a man and a woman we would like to speak to as part of our investigation and would urge anyone with information regarding their identities to please contact us.”
