At approximately 7.30am on Thursday 10 February 2022 the male victim parked his vehicle next to a Volkswagen van in Branksome Dene Chine car park and left the area. When he returned, it is reported that the male owner of the van started shouting abuse at the victim, claiming that he had parked too close to him.
The victim got into his car and began to drive away, but the man continued to shout abuse at him.
Police Community Support Investigator Dan Cammell, of Poole police, said: “This was an unprovoked incident and the victim was left feeling very frightened.
“I understand there were a number of people in the car park at the time and I would urge anyone who witnessed what happened to please come forward so I can establish exactly what happened.
“I would also like to hear from any motorists who may have been in the car park and had dashcam fitted to their vehicle capturing the incident.”
