Man due in court in connection with fatal collision in Poole
A man is due to appear in court in connection with a fatal road traffic collision in Poole.
Dorset Police responded to a report at 5pm on Friday 28 November 2025 of a two-vehicle collision involving a DAF truck and a silver motorcycle at the Holes Bay North Roundabout.
Emergency services attended and very sadly the rider of the motorcycle – 17-year-old Zebedee Watson from North Dorset – died at the scene.
A detailed investigation was commenced and, following extensive enquiries, a 55-year-old Purbeck man has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at court on Tuesday 28 July 2026 for an offence of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
Officers have been continuing to support Zebedee’s family and they have been updated with the latest development in the investigation.
