Witness and dashcam appeal following collision in Weymouth
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to get in touch following a road traffic collision in Weymouth.
Dorset Police received a report at 11.17am on Wednesday 10 December 2025 of a collision in Dorchester Road in the Redlands area involving a blue Vauxhall Zafira and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian sustained injuries that were not believed to be serious.
A road closure was put in place as emergency services responded to the incident and the road was cleared at around 12.35pm.
Police Constable Lee Jones, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out further enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would urge any witnesses to please contact us.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage.”
