Charge after alleged assault in Bournemouth
Detectives have charged a teenage boy in connection with an alleged assault in Bournemouth.
At 6.56pm on Thursday 20 April 2023 Dorset Police received a report that a man had sustained stab wounds in Beaufort Road in Bournemouth. The victim – aged in his 40s – was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Following enquiries, officers arrested a 16-year-old boy from Bournemouth. He has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, occasioning actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 27 April 2023.
