Update – arrest following reported public order incident in Bournemouth
A man has been arrested following an image appeal in relation to a report of a public order incident in Bournemouth.
It was reported that at around 3pm on Tuesday 3 December 2024 a man was riding his bike along the promenade at Alum Chine when he allegedly became aggressive towards multiple members of public.
It was further reported he cycled into a dog and was aggressive towards a woman with a pushchair.
Following an image appeal and enquiries by officers, a 61-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of assault and a public order offence. He has been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
