Update – arrest following reported voyeurism in Bournemouth

Officers continuing to investigate reports of voyeurism at a shop in Bournemouth have made an arrest.

Dorset Police received a report at 1.08pm on Saturday 30 May 2026 that a man was taking pictures of female customers in the changing rooms at H&M in Castlepoint Shopping Centre.

The man was reportedly challenged and subsequently left the shop.

Following enquiries by officers, a 47-year-old from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of voyeurism. He has been released on police bail as further enquiries are conducted.

This remains an active investigation and we would urge members of the public to refrain from speculation and the sharing of images relating to this matter online or via social media.
