Update – arrest in connection with reported robbery in Poole
Officers investigating a reported robbery in Poole have made an arrest.
It was reported that at around 2.40pm on Monday 19 September 2022 a man was approached on Poole Quay and pushed off his bike by an unknown man.
It was reported that the alleged offender stole the bike – a black Specialized mountain bike – and rode off in the direction of Hamworthy.
The victim’s mobile phone, keys and Samsung earphones were on the bike that was reportedly stolen.
Following enquiries by officers, a 34-year-old man from Corfe Mullen was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He has been released on police bail as further enquiries are conducted.
