Man due to appear at court following alleged assault at boxing event in Bournemouth
A man is due to appear at court following a report of an assault at a boxing event in Bournemouth.
During the evening of Saturday 27 May 2023, it is reported that a man aged in his 30s was assaulted at a boxing event at the Vitality Stadium in Kings Park.
He sustained a serious injury to his ear that required medical treatment.
Following enquiries, a 48-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested in connection with the incident. He has since been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday 14 June 2024 for offences of wounding with intent and affray.
