Appeal following theft of caravan in Blandford St Mary

Officers investigating the theft of a caravan in Blandford St Mary are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

At around 10pm on Friday 5 May 2023 a Tabbert Comtesse 680 caravan was stolen from an address by offenders driving a black Mitsubishi Shogun. It was subsequently located on Louse Lane near Spetisbury following a call from a member of the public reporting that it was blocking the road.

Police Constable Nick May, of Blandford police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the caravan being towed by a black Mitsubishi Shogun at around the relevant time in the Blandford St Mary and Spetisbury areas to please contact us.

“I am also reaching out to residents in those areas to please check their home CCTV cameras to see if they have captured anything that may help us identify the suspect.”
