Update – arrests following reported assault in Wimborne
Three men have been arrested in connection with a reported assault in Wimborne.
The incident occurred during the early hours of Saturday 16 December 2023 in the area of the High Street. It was reported a man aged in his 40s was assaulted by a group of people and he sustained a broken jaw as a result.
Following enquiries by detectives from Dorset County CID, an 18-year-old man from Yeovil and two men – aged 18 and 21 – from the Blandford area were arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm. All three have been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
