Update – man charged in connection with reported burglary in Shaftesbury
A man has been charged with an alleged burglary in Shaftesbury.
It was reported that at around 1am on Friday 24 November 2023 entry was gained to the bar area at Shaftesbury Football Club in Coppice Street and a number of bottles of alcohol were allegedly stolen.
Following enquiries by officers and a CCTV appeal, a 33-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested and has been charged with burglary. He appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 6 January 2024 and is next due to appear at the same court on Friday 12 January 2024.
