Update - Witnesses to reported serious assault in Weymouth identified
Two potential witnesses to a reported serious assault in Weymouth have now been identified.
Dorset Police received a report at 2.50am on Saturday 14 June 2025 that two men had sustained injuries during a reported incident in Maiden Street.
Detectives have been conducting detailed enquiries to establish the full circumstances of what happened and issued CCTV images of two women they wanted to speak to as potential witnesses.
Following the appeal, the women have now been identified.
