CCTV appeal following sexual assault in Poole

Officers investigating an incident where a teenage girl was sexually assaulted on a bus in Poole are issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to identify.

The victim was travelled on the number 8 More Bus in the Hamworthy area at around 7.50pm on Sunday 25 January 2026 when a man approached her and kissed her on the cheek without her consent before returning to his seat.

Police Constable Alice Beavon, of Poole police, said: “This was an upsetting incident for the young victim and we have been carrying out a thorough investigation into what happened.

“I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of a man we are looking to identify as part of our enquiries and would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please contact us.”
