Arrest made following alleged assault in Boscombe

Detectives investigating an alleged assault in Boscombe have made an arrest.

Dorset Police received a report at 9.42pm on Thursday 18 December 2025 that a man was located with injuries in Drummond Road. It was further reported that the man had sustained a stab wound a short time before in Boscombe Gardens.

The victim – a man aged in his 20s – was taken to hospital for treatment with injuries that are not life-threatening or life-changing.

A cordon was put in place to allow for detailed enquiries to be carried out at the scene.

Following enquiries, a 19-year-old man from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in police custody at this time as the investigation continues.
