Witness appeal following report of exposure in Weymouth

Officers investigating an indecent exposure incident in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

It was reported that between 4pm and 5pm on Thursday 6 June 2024 a group of three teenagers witnessed a man exposing himself on the footpath that runs behind the Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre between Newstead Road and Chickerell Road.

The man is described as white, around 60 years old, five feet five inches tall and of medium build with balding grey hair. He was wearing a red tracksuit top with black details on it, black tracksuit bottoms and thin-framed sunglasses.

Police Constable Connor Lombardo, of Weymouth police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our enquiries.

“I would also ask any motorists who were driving in the areas of Chickerell Road, Newstead Road or Knightsdale Road on the afternoon of Thursday 6 June 2024 to please check any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
