Appeal following fail-to-stop collision in Bournemouth

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following a fail-to-stop collision in Bournemouth.

At around 9.20pm on Wednesday 22 October 2025 a collision occurred involving a blue car and a grey Yamaha motorcycle at the junction of Charminster Road and Richmond Wood Road.

The motorcyclist sustained injuries not believed to be serious.

The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene.

Police Constable Rob Pennington, of Bournemouth police, said: “An investigation is underway into this collision to establish what happened and identify the driver of the car.

“I am appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to please get in touch.

“I would also urge the driver to please do the right thing and come forward so we can take your account of what happened.”
