A woman has been identified following an image appeal in relation to reported disorder at an unauthorised music event near East Lulworth.

Dorset Police was first alerted at around 11.45pm on Saturday 4 April 2026 to reports of an unauthorised music event in the area. It was believed that more than 2,000 people were in attendance.

Officers attended the site and remained throughout much of Sunday 5 April 2026, working to bring the event to a safe conclusion.

It was reported that while they were responding to the incident, officers were subjected to violence by a number of those present, with a number of officers reportedly assaulted.

A total of eleven arrests were made over the weekend of the event.

A man aged in his 30s from Bedfordshire was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and possessing a class A drug. He remains on police bail. Three further men – a man aged in his 20s from Bridgewater, a man aged in his 20s from Pembrokeshire and a man aged in his 30s from Poole – were arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and also remain on police bail.

A further seven arrests were made for driving offences and they all remain released under investigation while enquiries continue.

As detectives continued their enquiries, an image appeal was issued in relation to six individuals officers wanted to identify in connection with the investigation.

Following the appeal, a woman aged in her 20s from the Andover area in Hampshire has attended for voluntary police interview and has been released under investigation.

After further separate enquiries, a man aged in his 20s from Exeter, who did not feature in the image appeal, has also been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and released on police bail.

Detective Chief Inspector George Graham, of Dorset County CID, said: “Our investigation remains ongoing and we are still looking to identify a further five individuals in connection with this incident.

“I would urge anyone who has information regarding their identities to please make contact with us.”
