Officers investigating a collision in Christchurch are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

Dorset Police received a report at 6.43pm on Sunday 15 May 2022 of a single vehicle collision involving a white Audi R8 on the Christchurch bypass.

It was reported that the vehicle had left the road and was in a ditch.

The road was closed to allow emergency services to safely deal with the incident and treat the injured person. It reopened at around 2.25am on Monday 16 May 2022.

Police Constable Gavin Newbury, of the traffic unit, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or manner of driving of the vehicle in the moments beforehand to please get in touch.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who may have been driving in the area and captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
