CCTV appeal following assault in Bournemouth
Officers investigating an assault in Bournemouth town centre are issuing an image of a person they would like to identify.
During the evening of Friday 24 April 2026, a man aged in his 70s was assaulted in the Lower Gardens.
He was knocked to the floor and sustained an injury to his face that required hospital treatment.
Detective Constable Steve Taylor, of BCP CID, said: “I am continuing to investigate this incident to establish exactly what happened.
“I am now issuing an image of someone I would like to identify and would ask anyone who recognises him to please get in touch.”
