Public appeal to find wanted man
Officers are carrying out enquiries to locate a wanted man and are appealing for information from the public to help find him.
Anthony Higgins, aged 36 and of Bournemouth, is wanted on prison recall.
He is described as approximately five foot seven inches tall and of medium build with brown hair.
Inspector Simon Perry, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries to locate Anthony Higgins as soon as possible.
“We understand he has been staying in Bournemouth, but he may have travelled to Shaftesbury. While there is no information to suggest Anthony poses a risk to the public, we would urge anyone who sees him to not approach him but instead dial 999 immediately. “
