Image appeal following burglary in Bournemouth

Officers are issuing an image of a man they would like to identify as they investigate a burglary at a home in Bournemouth.

It was reported that between 4pm and 6pm on Wednesday 1 July 2026 entry was gained to the downstairs of an address in Verney Road.

The intruder was disturbed when the occupants came downstairs and made off from the property.

It was discovered that a small black messenger bag, credit cards, documents and other items had been stolen.

Police Constable Alicia Roe, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are investigating this burglary and are issuing an image of a man we would like to identify as part of our enquiries.

“I am keen to hear from anyone with information regarding his identity.”
