Public appeal to find missing man in Poole
Officers are appealing for help and information from the public as they search for a missing man in Poole.
William, aged 79, was last seen between 4pm and 6pm on Tuesday 30 June 2026 in Danecourt Road and has not been seen or heard from since.
He is described as five feet one inch tall and of stocky build with short white hair.
Police Constable Ben Richards, of the Missing Support Team, said: “It is very out of character for William to not be in contact with family and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“I would ask anyone who has seen him – or a man matching the description given – to please get in touch.
“As part of our enquiries we have identified a CCTV sighting of William in Commercial Road at around 5.55pm on Tuesday 30 June 2026, which shows the clothing he was wearing when he went missing.
“I am also appealing directly to William to please make contact with us as we just want to make sure you are OK.”
