Appeal following serious injury collision in Weymouth

Officers investigating a road traffic collision in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

The incident, which involved a white Honda motorcycle and a pedestrian, happened at around 4.50pm on Thursday 27 November 2025 in Commercial Road.

The pedestrian, a local woman in her 80s, was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The motorcycle rider, a local man in his 50s, was uninjured.

Police Sergeant Richard Stroud, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and I am keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened.

“I would ask anyone with relevant dashcam footage to please come forward.”
