CCTV appeal following theft and fraud in Poole
Officers investigating a theft and fraudulent use of bank cards in Poole are issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to identify.
Overnight between Wednesday 1 July and Thursday 2 July 2026, a window to an unattended vehicle was smashed in the area of Churchill Road and a handbag containing bank cards stolen.
A further report was also made of a second vehicle at the same address being broken into, with power tools, a battery charger and a bank card stolen.
Subsequently, attempts were made to use the bank cards at two local stores on the Thursday.
Police Constable Harvey Trehane, of Poole police, said: “Following enquiries into this matter, I am now in the position to issue images of a man we would like to identify as part of our investigation.
“I would urge anyone with information about the identity of the person pictured to get in touch.”
