Public appeal to find missing woman in Weymouth

Officers are appealing for information from the public as they search for a missing woman in Weymouth.

Josie, aged 31, was last seen at around 8pm on Saturday 9 August 2025 in Holland Road.

She is described as five feet four inches tall and of large build with long blonde hair and was wearing a black top, black leggings and pink and white sliders. Josie was carrying a purple handbag and has a lip piercing.

Detective Inspector Rhys Griffiths, of Dorset Police, said: “Josie has not been seen since Saturday evening and her disappearance is out of character.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Josie, or a woman matching the description given, to please get in touch.

“If you see this appeal Josie – please contact us or your family as we want to make sure you are safe and well.”
