Witness and dashcam appeal following collision in Christchurch

Officers investigating a report of a road traffic collision in Christchurch are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.

Between 3.15pm and 3.30pm on Thursday 21 March 2024 officers received a report of a collision at the Hoburne Roundabout in Highcliffe Road involving a red BMW and a pedestrian.

Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a teenage boy, was treated by the ambulance service for injuries that were not believed to be serious.

Police Constable Hugo Pike, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.

“I would also urge anyone who was driving in the area around the relevant time to review any available dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything that might assist our investigation.”
