Man due to appear in court following serious collision in Bournemouth
A man is due to appear in court following a serious injury collision in Bournemouth.
Dorset Police received a report at 7.44am on Thursday 12 January 2023 of a collision involving a blue Vauxhall Astra and a pedestrian in Florence Road, at the junction with Grantley Road.
The pedestrian – a local man aged in his 60s – was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
Following an investigation by the Roads Policing Team, a 31-year-old man from Bournemouth has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday 19 April 2024 for an offence of causing serious injury by careless or inconsiderate driving.
