Witness appeal following serious injury collision in Weymouth

Officers investigating a serious injury collision in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

Dorset Police received a report at 4.23pm on Sunday 15 January 2023 of a collision involving a green Kawasaki motorcycle and a black Audi hatchback in Littlemoor Road.

The motorcycle rider, a man aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were believed to be serious.

Police Sergeant Gareth Thomas, of the traffic unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or the manner of driving of the Kawasaki motorcycle in the moments leading up to the collision, to please come forward.

“Also, I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage from the Littlemoor Road area of Weymouth at around 4.20pm on Sunday 15 January 2023.”
