Assault in Weymouth town centre – CCTV appeal
Officers investigating an assault in Weymouth town centre are issuing CCTV images of a man and woman they would like to identify.
The incident occurred at around 5.10pm on Saturday 14 March 2026 in St Alban Street at the junction with East Street.
During the incident, a woman aged in her 20s was punched and sustained injuries to her face and a man aged in his 20s was also assaulted.
Police Constable Joe Garrard, of Weymouth police, said: “As part of my investigation, I am issuing CCTV images of two people I would like to identify.
“I would urge anyone who recognises them to please come forward.”
