Witness and dashcam appeal following collision in Bournemouth

Officers investigating a road traffic collision in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.

At around 11pm on Friday 10 July 2026, officers responded to a report of a single vehicle collision involving a blue Suzuki motorcycle in Wellington Road.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be serious.

Police Constable Tom Ringer, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this incident, and I am keen to speak to any witnesses to the collision, or the manner of riding of the motorcycle prior to it.

“I would also urge any motorists who were in the area around the relevant time to please check any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything that might assist our enquiries.”
