Appeal for information following assault in Poole

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward after a teenage boy was assaulted in Poole town centre.

The 14-year-old victim was in the High Street, outside Rubicon Recruitment, with two other teenagers between 4.15pm and 4.40pm on Sunday 1 March 2026 when they were approached by a group of six male teenagers.

The victim was assaulted, being repeatedly punched and kicked after being taken to the ground.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are believed to be serious.

Police Constable Kenny Follina, of Poole police, said: “We are carrying out a full investigation into this assault as we look to identify those involved.

“This incident occurred in broad daylight with a number of members of the public present and I am keen to hear from witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our investigation.”
