CCTV appeal following serious assault in Poole

Detectives are issuing images of a man they are looking to identify as they investigate a serious assault in Poole.

It was reported that at around 3am on Sunday 29 March 2026 a man aged in his 30s was assaulted outside Soundwaves Bar on Poole Quay.

He was reportedly punched multiple times in the face and head, causing him to fall to the floor and knocking him unconscious.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to a broken jaw.

Detective Constable Jessica Davis, of BCP CID, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this assault and have obtained CCTV images of a man we would like to identify.

“I appreciate the images are not the best quality but I would urge anyone who recognises this individual to please make contact with us.”
