Appeal for information following sexual assault in Bournemouth
Officers investigating a report of sexual assault in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
It was reported that at around 1.15am on Tuesday 14 February 2023 a man pushed a woman up against a window in the area of the Buffalo Bar in Wimborne Road and attempted to kiss her. A member of the public intervened and the man walked off in the direction of Alma Road.
He is described as being aged in his late 40s, around six feet tall and bald.
Police Constable Carri King, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our enquiries.
“I would also urge motorists who were travelling in the vicinity to please check any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
