Image appeal following burglary in Wimborne

Officers are appealing for information and issuing images of two electric bikes that were stolen in a burglary in Wimborne.

At around 12.30am on Sunday 6 September 2026 entry was gained to a shed in Highland Road, with a Trek and a Focus electric bicycle stolen as well as a Stihl hedge trimmer.

Sergeant Megan Hall, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out a full investigation into this burglary and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time to please make contact with us.

“I am also issuing images of the stolen bikes and would urge anyone who comes across matching bikes being sold online or locally in suspicious circumstances to please get in touch.”
