Update following report of assault in Bournemouth
A man has come forward following a CCTV appeal in relation to an assault in Bournemouth.
It is reported that at around 3.30pm on Monday 5 February 2024 a man was assaulted at the Dalkeith Arcade in Old Christchurch Road. The victim – a man aged in his 60s – was involved in an altercation with another man before he was pushed into a lift, causing minor injuries.
Following a CCTV appeal, a man has come forward. Following enquiries and assistance from the man, it has been established that he was not involved in the incident.
An investigation is continuing into the incident. No arrests have been made.
